Description

Chryso®Cure HPE is a ready‑to‑use, water‑based curing agent designed for freshly placed concrete, mortars, cement‑based coatings, and newly demoulded concrete. It forms a continuous protective film that prevents moisture loss (desiccation), promoting more complete cement hydration. This reduces early‑age cracking and drying shrinkage, while improving abrasion resistance after the concrete sets.

 

The product is white on application for clear visual control and becomes colourless once fully dry.

Application areas

Chryso®Cure HPE is especially suited to concrete elements requiring controlled curing and moisture retention, including:

  • High surface‑area concrete components such as slabs, roads, and highways 
  • Precast walling
  • Any cement‑based element at risk of excessive desiccation
  • Concrete and mortar exposed to adverse drying conditions, including:
    • High ambient temperatures
    • Wind exposure
