Chryso®Optima 48

Chryso®Optima 48 is a new generation high-range water reducing superplasticiser incorporating Chryso CLEAR Technology. Based on hybrid polymer technology Chryso®Optima 48 has been specifically formulated to provide rapid plasticisation of concrete mixes.

The product is particularly suitable for applications requiring short mixing cycles, including volumetric truck mixers. It can be used effectively in concrete mixes containing clay and silt contaminated aggregates, as well as finely graded aggregates, helping to optimise cement content and enable the use of materials that may otherwise be unsuitable.

Chryso®Optima 48 can be used to produce high workability concrete without increasing mix water content. It is suitable for a wide range of concrete mixes, including low water/cement ratio concretes and applications where an increase in slump class is required without additional cement.
