Description

Chryso®Daraset 590 is a non‑corrosive, non‑chloride hardening accelerating admixture for concrete. It accelerates cement hydration, resulting in shortened setting times and significantly increased early‑age compressive strength.

Free from calcium chloride, Chryso®Daraset 590 is completely non‑corrosive to reinforcing steel, metal decks, and metal components of admixture storage and dispensing systems. The product is manufactured under controlled conditions to ensure consistent performance and conforms to EN 934‑2.

Application areas

Chryso®Daraset 590 is suitable for:

Cold‑weather concreting
Concrete requiring rapid set and early strength development
Reinforced and prestressed concrete
Concrete cast on steel or metal decking

Chryso®Daraset 590 accelerates the reaction between Portland cement and water, promoting early binder gel formation and heat generation, which helps protect concrete during initial placing in cold conditions.

For use with special cements, consultation with Chryso Technical Services is recommended.

Chryso®Daraset 590 is compatible with Chryso admixtures normally used in concrete production.

Each admixture must be added separately
Performance may be influenced by other chemicals present in the mix
