Description

Chryso®Mortair DPX is a powdered air‑entraining admixture developed for the production of air‑entrained mortars, particularly for site‑produced dry silo mortars. It enables the consistent manufacture of ready‑to‑use mortars complying with EN 998 requirements.

Chryso®Mortair DPX produces a very stable and uniform air‑void system, delivering consistent air content over a wide dosage range. This stability improves workability, reduces bleeding, and ensures predictable mortar performance throughout its usable life. The product conforms to EN 934‑3.

Application areas

Chryso®Mortair DPX is suitable for:

  • Dry silo mortars
  • Factory‑produced mortars
  • Ready‑to‑use mortars requiring controlled air entrainment
  • Mortars produced on site with dry blending systems

Chryso®Mortair DPX must not be premixed with other admixtures.

  • Each admixture must be added separately
  • The presence of other chemicals may affect performance

Chryso®Mortair DPX can be used with:

  • Most types of Portland cement
  • Mortars containing fly ash
  • Mortars containing ground granulated blastfurnace slag (GGBS)

For use with special cements, consultation with Chryso Technical Services is recommended.
