Technical Data Sheet Safety Data Sheet Description Chryso®Mortard DR is a powdered mortar retarder developed for use in dry silo and factory‑produced mortars. It enables controlled retardation of cement hydration, allowing mortars to retain workability for extended periods to suit site and production requirements. The product is specifically formulated for cement‑lime‑sand mortars, but is equally effective in cement‑sand mortars. Chryso®Mortard DR is manufactured under controlled conditions to ensure consistent performance and conforms to EN 934‑3. Application areas Chryso®Mortard DR is suitable for: Dry silo mortars Factory‑produced mortars Cement‑lime‑sand mortars Cement‑sand mortars requiring extended workability Chryso®Mortard DR can be used with: Most types of Portland cement Mortars containing fly ash Mortars containing ground granulated blastfurnace slag (GGBS) For special cements, consultation with Chryso Technical Services is recommended. Chryso®Mortard DR should not be premixed with other admixtures.
