Description
Chryso®Quantec PL 422 is a low‑dosage, high‑performance plasticiser designed to work in conjunction with a catalyst to produce a synergistic effect in low‑slump concrete mixes. It improves cement dispersion, optimises hydration potential, and enhances strength development.
Designed for block mixes and low‑workability concrete systems involving vibro‑compression and instant demoulding. It is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions to ensure consistent performance.
Application areas
Chryso®Quantec PL 422 is suitable for:
- Concrete blocks (natural, lightweight, or artificial aggregates)
- Static and mobile block‑making systems
- Air‑cured, steam‑cured, or autoclaved products
- Concrete brick presses
- Paving block production
- Extruded concrete products
- Concrete tile manufacture
- Low‑workability concrete systems using vibration‑intensive or press‑based production methods
- Use with all types of Portland cement, including cement replacement materials
Chryso®Quantec PL 422 must not be premixed with other admixtures prior to addition
- Performance may be affected by the presence of other chemicals
