Description

Chryso®Tard CHR is a set-retarding admixture that slows cement hydration by temporarily blocking the surface of cement particles. After the setting period, concrete hardens rapidly and achieves high compressive strength at 28 days. It is particularly suited to applications requiring extended transport times or large concrete pours.

Chryso®Tard CHR has no surface tension effect and does not alter the consistency of fresh concrete. It can be used in combination with high-range water-reducing superplasticisers without affecting workability or mix performance.
