SGCC Showcases Tunnel Construction and Underground Infrastructure Expertise at BTS Conference & Exhibition 2026
The BTS Conference & Exhibition 2026 once again demonstrated its position as the UK’s leading tunnelling event. The exhibition welcomed more than 800 delegates, an increase on the previous year, alongside over 55 industry-leading organisations. The event took place at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, on 6-7 October.
Showcasing Integrated Underground Construction Solutions
Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals (SGCC) welcomed visitors to Stand F40. Teams from Chryso, GCP and Fosroc came together to showcase an integrated portfolio of underground construction solutions. These solutions support tunnelling and infrastructure projects from design through to delivery.
Under the theme “Durable & Sustainable Protection for Tunnels”, SGCC engaged with customers, consultants and contractors throughout the event. Discussions focused on the challenges facing modern underground infrastructure. Visitors also explored how integrated construction chemical solutions can support more durable, efficient and sustainable project outcomes.
Waterproofing and Protection Technologies
Visitors to the stand explored a comprehensive range of technologies. These included advanced waterproofing systems, concrete admixtures, digital concrete monitoring solutions and technical support services.
Featured solutions included the low-odour TYTRO® SL 500 spray-applied waterproof membrane and INTEGRITANK® waterproofing technologies for tunnels and underground structures. Visitors also learned more about Proofex Engage and Proofex Alkorplan waterproofing systems, together with specialist sealing solutions Flamex MS320 and Flamex Two.
Advanced Concrete Technologies for Tunnel Construction
The exhibition also provided an opportunity to highlight SGCC’s advanced concrete technologies for tunnel lining applications.
Featured products included Chryso® Optima 1000, Chryso® Eclipse and Chryso® Daraset. Discussions focused on improving performance, durability and sustainability in underground construction projects.
Strong Industry Engagement
The strong attendance and quality of conversations reinforced the industry’s continued focus on delivering resilient infrastructure. At the same time, attendees highlighted the importance of innovation and sustainable construction practices.
